The Constitution, The Executive, and YOU

I have been musing about the whole President/CIC thing. There is a persistent notion that the President wears two hats, one of civil President and another of Commander in Chief. Let's ignore the notion that CIC is a wartime thing for the moment and assume it is, especially given the persistent states of emergency that are tantamount to war, a full time status these days.

The Presidency is not a multiple personality creature. It is not a bifurcated office with two separate authorities somehow dwelling independently within the brain of the President.

The President IS the Executive. He holds all Executive authority. He may give orders or even delegate certain aspects of that authority (to cabinet secretaries, for example), but Executive Authority never ceases to exist within and emerge from his grasp.

The idea that a President may choose to pass on certain authorities to a successor while retaining others for himself, or that he may do so like a Power Santa, handing out certain powers to others while a successor receives a subset for himself, misses the fundamental point of the Executive Branch as established by the Constitution. The Executive is a single person holding any and all executive powers granted by the Constitution.

People may invent fanciful theories, but there has never been a moment in history where an act of war or emergency overcame or destroyed this fundamental constitutional truth. Even with emergencies, the authority to operate under extraordinary circumstances emerges only from the President himself. CoG is an executive imperative, not a substitute for the Executive himself.

The whole devolution thing, the whole law of war thing, the whole two constitutions thing, rests on the ability of the theorist to invent and cling to fictions that do not in fact exist in the real world.

It all comes down to the reason why they want to demoralize you, steal your vote, keep you at home rather than at the school board meeting, etc. YOU and YOUR VOTE matter. Your participation in your local politics matters and affects everything up to the pinnacle of federal government. The Constitution MATTERS.

The left is attempting to demoralize you with their overt MSM-driven narratives. And there is an even more insidious attempt to demoralize you from within the MAGA/Patriot movement. The MAGA grifters selling you devolution or law of war scenarios are trying to demoralize you by making you believe that the Constitution does not matter. The terms of the founding document do not matter. They are lulling you to sleep, getting you to neglect your civic responsibilities, because some secret and unconstitutional plan is going to swoop in and save you.

Now ask yourself, if it was true that this was happening, why would they worry about the votes/elections at all? Why would a weaponized FBI be oppressing parents with the temerity to show up at school board meetings? Why would Jan 6 protesters be kept in a gulag? Because anyone who actually exercises their Constitutional rights and gets involved in their civic responsibilities is a THREAT to the deep state.

Are you going to put your faith, your future, your nation in the hands of an "all hat no cattle" failed country music wannabe, or a guy pimping cheap Chinese merchandise on his channel that features an ageing Playboy Bunny giving lectures on good parenting?

Or are you going to embrace your civic responsibilities and exercise the prerogatives of citizenship that they taught us about in school during the middle of the last century?

In a world where this sort of shit exists, and given the obvious impact that devolution (etc) is having, it is impossible to assert that entities like the CCP would not pay any attention to it.

Now, ask yourself this: Which side of the devolution debate do you think the CCP click farms are working for?
