Project Milk Carton exists to protect the same families that unregulated AI products target. We built ARIA — a system with 901,000+ lines of custom code, 253 specialized tools, and 215 million+ verified database records — and we provide it for free because we believe that the most vulnerable families in America deserve more than a $26 chatbot.
The families navigating CPS cases, searching for missing children, and fighting for accountability in the child welfare system face enough challenges without being exploited by unregulated technology vendors. They deserve real tools, real data, and real advocacy. They deserve the architecture of trust.
This white paper is Part 1 of “The Architecture of Trust,” a five-part series examining how technology can serve — or exploit — vulnerable populations.
